Happy Friday everyone! We all worked very hard to make it a fantastic week that went by fast.

After our morning routine, we had our first word wall spelling test. Everyone did very well and those words are now on our class word wall!

In Phys Ed we played dodgeball; every person was for themselves. It was especially fun to get the teachers out.

On Friday's, in math, we do something different then we have been the rest of the week. So today, we continued practicing single digit addition. Right now we are able to use a variety of manipulatives to help us find the answers we cannot figure out in our head.

We are continuing to explore magnets in science. Today we started to eliminate which materials will not work for Willy Wonkas' new candy bar wrapper that needs to stick to a magnetic machine. So far, we have figured out that a wrapper made from wood will not work because there is no metal or magnetic material in it. Next week, we will continue this search.

This afternoon we had our second fire drill practice. Once again, we did very well being quiet leaving the school and waiting to be able to come back into the school. Following the drill, the entire school demonstrated 'Care for Place' (one of our 4 pillars of care) by picking up garbage around the school grounds.
